Warehousing:

Do you need temporary or long-term storage for your belongings? Whether you need to store an entire house full of items or just a few objects, we can accommodate your needs. There are so many reasons to store your belongings - it could be different closing dates, construction delays, or anything else. Regardless of the needs, Stallion Movers has your solution!

About our warehousing:

Stallion Movers can arrange your warehousing needs through one of our partner businesses. If you need constant access to your things, we recommend that we arrange a pod at your house for you, or we will arrange a separate storage facility that offers 24/7 access.

Pods:

We have partnered with a great local provider to service our moving areas with storage solutions. We take care of all the organizing and logistics so you can focus on what matters!

About the Pods:

The pods are 8 Wide x 20 Long x 7 High in size. They are secured shipping containers that are completely sealed. They are not temperature controlled. They can fit approximately a 2 bedroom apartment if packed well.

We offer 3 kinds of full storage services:

1) Facility Storage Pods

We will load up all of your items for you and bring your items to our partners private storage facility that is gated & locked. We will offload your items into the pods where they will stay until you hire us to bring them back to you.

Pros: This is great for quick solutions for your storage needs. It can provide a buffer for you as you transition between homes. It also works great if you need to stage your house and store of a few items while your house sells. This is great as a long term storage.

Cons: There is no customer access to the facility but you may request a pickup with 2 day's notice if you leave something in the locker that you need.

2) Storage Pod Delivery

We will organize to have a pod delivered right to your home! You can load it yourself or have us load it for you! We'll have it picked up again when you're all done with it.

Pros: This is also great for quick solutions for your storage needs. It is great if you need are re-doing a room or completing other renovations on your home. This can also be used for long term storage if you require.

Cons: Can be an eye sore in your driveway or take up a parking space.

3) Storage Pod Delivery with Facility Hold

We will organize to have a pod delivered to your location, you can load your pod or have us load it for you; then we will take the pod away and have it stored at our partners facility. When you require the pod back to your house (or new house), we will arrange to have it sent back to you for the unload. We can help you with your unload too if required and then have the pod picked up and removed again.

Pros: This is great as a full moving solution if you have time between homes. This can also be very helpful for a long term renovation or other types of moves/house work. This is great as long term storage.

Cons: Unfortunately you have to pay every time the pod moves. All items must be secured in the pod properly because it moves and will be tilted on an angle to pick it up. Therefore it requires more padding and straps. Also there is no customer access to the facility when it arrive but you may request a pickup with 2 day's notice if you leave something in the locker that you need.

Storage Recommendations:

• We highly recommend you use our rental blankets with your pod rental.
• We highly recommend you use our rental straps with your pod rental if the pod is to be moving. Things need to be properly secured.
• You may wish to purchase additional moving supplies if you are storing certain items. It is not recommended to store TV's or Electronics for an extended period of time.
• If you are storing the pod at your home, remember to buy a lock for yourself!

Important Details:

We organize and keep track of all pods. We will have them shipped out and picked up as required.

If you decide to have us move your items, after our base rate has been paid on the move, we offer a discount on our hourly rate for our storage clients. For the pods, you are billed on a monthly basis, the first month is pro-rated and there are no half months.
