About Stallion — Movers & Seniors Services
Stallion was started by Brett Ford in Waterloo Region in 2015 with delivery and furniture work. The work was collecting, carrying and placing the pieces other people could not move themselves.
Over time, more and more of that work came from older adults and their families — a parent moving into a retirement suite, a family home being downsized, a room that needed clearing. We developed a strong specialty in senior transitions, and built lasting relationships with retirement residences and senior-care professionals along the way.
Today the company operates as Stallion — Movers & Seniors Services: senior moving and downsizing first, plus the practical help that surrounds a move. Our sweet spot is senior moves, apartments, condos, retirement suites, townhomes and family homes up to four bedrooms. Larger or unusually complex moves are reviewed individually.

How We Work
We plan the move before the truck shows up: inventory, access and stairs first, then a written quote. Professional moving vehicles are selected for the size and requirements of each move, and we tell you honestly if another option would suit the job better.
Our moving standards page sets out what we hold ourselves to on the day. It describes our own practice and is not an accreditation.
Where We Work — and What Is Next
Waterloo Region is our current operating market: Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and the surrounding townships, with Guelph and nearby communities as regular work. Longer moves within Ontario are arranged case by case.
We are developing a plan for future franchise expansion in Ontario. No franchise locations operate today.

The specialty. Senior moves and small moves are the main thing we do rather than the overflow, so the planning, the crew and the pace are built around them.

Do you have locations outside Waterloo Region?
Not today. Waterloo Region is our current operating market, and Ontario franchise expansion is being developed. Our service areas page shows where we travel.
