Can a moving truck park at our address in the Elora core?
Sometimes, and sometimes only a smaller one. The core has narrow streets, buildings at the kerb and very little turning room, so we look at photos of the street and the frontage before committing a vehicle. Where a large truck will not work we use a smaller one or shuttle, and we price that honestly up front.
Is it better to move on a weekday?
In Elora, usually yes. Visitor traffic and parking pressure around Mill Street and the gorge on weekends and through the summer slow a move that would otherwise be simple. If your date is flexible, a weekday start outside the peak is the better choice.
How does travel to Elora affect the price?
Elora is reached from Waterloo Region via Guelph or the county roads, and it is regular service-area work for us. The first 40 round-trip kilometres are included on local moves. Additional mileage/travel charges may apply outside the local area.
