GET A QUOTEOur minimum bookings reflect the real costs of reserving and preparing the right crew, truck, equipment, scheduling and dispatch for your move.
The delivery minimum applies in town only. Additional mileage/travel charges may apply outside the local area, and out-of-town deliveries may include additional-stop charges.

Additional Project Types
Custom quote — assessment required. Can combine sorting, packing, moving, donation, disposal, multiple destinations, family distribution, estate clearing and multi-day work. Crew, trucks, time and pricing are assigned after assessment. A home-size package is not a guaranteed quote for a complete estate clear-out.
End-of-Life & Donation-Focused Moves
Compassionate moving and removal assistance following a death or major transition.
Your crew, vehicle and base pricing are determined by the amount being moved. When belongings are primarily being donated or disposed of rather than transported as household furniture, reduced move-preparation pricing may apply.
Donation stops, disposal/tipping fees, mileage, additional destinations and specialty-item charges may apply when required.
Furniture going to family, storage or another residence is moved with our normal padding and protection.
Not sure which package fits?
Better information = a better estimate.
- Bedroom count is a starting point, not the whole picture.
- Furniture volume varies a great deal between homes of the same size.
- Access matters — parking, long carries and tight turns take time.
- Stairs and elevators change the crew and the pace.
- Additional stops add travel and loading time.
- Specialty items — pianos, safes, large cabinets — need planning.
- Photos or video let Stallion assess your move accurately.
Tell us about your move and send photos or video where requested. We’ll use that information to determine the appropriate crew, truck and starting package.

How Your Price Could Change
- You add to the day - extra items, an extra stop, or work you ask the crew to do on site such as building or dismantling something.
- What we find on site is different from what was described. Anything you tell us about in advance - stairs, elevators, long carries, parking and access, how much there is - is already priced into your quote.
- Something outside anyone's control holds the day up, such as an accident, a road closure or a long wait in traffic on the way back. We talk it through with you at the time.
- Packing was not finished when the crew arrived, so the day runs longer than planned.
- Nothing is ever added quietly. If the job is going beyond what was quoted, the crew tells you and records the change on the Bill of Lading for you to sign before it is billed.
- If something is our fault, we take care of it. You are not billed extra for our mistake.
The full terms — and a blank copy of the Bill of Lading you'll sign on moving day — are available to read and download on our Terms & Conditions page.
Most moves cost exactly what was quoted. A price only changes when something about the job itself changes — more added on the day, work you ask the crew to do, or conditions that differ from what was described when we quoted — or because of something outside anyone's control, like a long wait in traffic on the way back or a road closure. Any change is discussed with you at the time, written on the Bill of Lading, and signed by you before it is billed.
If something goes wrong on our end, you are never billed extra for it — that's on us.
Every Stallion move includes basic coverage at $0.60 per pound ($1.32 per kilogram) per article, subject to the terms of your moving agreement, at no additional charge. It is not full replacement-value protection, so check what your home or tenant insurance already covers and tell us about high-value items before the move.
Better Information = a Better Estimate
Bedroom count gives us a starting point, but two 3-bedroom homes can be completely different moves. Furniture, boxes, closets, cupboards, pantries, basements, garages, storage areas, outdoor items, stairs, elevators, parking and specialty pieces can all change the amount of work required.
That is why we may ask for photos, a video, a virtual walkthrough or an in-home assessment. It protects you from unrealistically low quotes and from surprise bills on moving day.
No Hidden Fees, Defined
No hidden fees doesn't mean guessing low and surprising you later. It means we'll explain the starting minimum, continuation rate and known extras up front. If the scope materially changes, we'll review it with you before proceeding.
- A transparent starting minimum
- A clear continuation rate for time beyond the included time
- Known extras and mileage disclosed up front
- Material scope changes reviewed with you before different work proceeds
- Final billing that reflects the actual work you authorized
It does not mean unlimited or undisclosed work is included in the starting minimum.
Billing & Cancellations
- Website prices are starting points. Your written quote sets the minimum, crew, truck, included time, estimated range, additional-time rate and mileage.
- After the package minimum, time is billed in 15-minute increments at the additional-time rate in your quote.
- HST at 13% applies to taxable charges.
- Paying by credit card carries a 3% convenience fee, disclosed separately.
- Stallion no longer requires a deposit on most moves. Occasionally one may be requested — that's set per job, and we'll let you know if it applies.
- Please tell us as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. A reschedule or cancellation inside 7 calendar days of your move may carry administrative costs, as set out in your quote.
Want a Price for Your Actual Move?
The rates above are the same ones we quote from. Tell us what is moving — rooms, access, dates, anything awkward — and we will put a real number against your move rather than a range you have to guess your way into. A formal quote relies on enough information: a questionnaire or inventory, photos, a video walkthrough, or a virtual or in-home assessment — and larger, senior or more complex moves may need an assessment. Stairs, elevators, parking, long carries, extra stops, storage, donation or disposal, appliances, packing and any specialty or high-value items all need to be mentioned up front, because anything left out can change the crew, truck, trips, materials, time, mileage and final bill.
Not sure what to show us? Use the Visual Quote Checklist — every room, access point and item we need to see.
